No Trip to Abbotsford can be without.....

A DAY AT THE SPA!!!

I am sooo blessed with a wonderful husband that has yet to say no to a day at the spa with Sarah! It's a real treat for both of us and continues to be an incredible highlight of my trips! This year, we headed to Spautopia in Langley and it is by far the best spa I have ever been too! We were treated like royalty!

Pedicures and Manicures were on our menu this time...perhaps massages next time!

I love, love, LOVE my spa dates with Sarah - truly relaxing. Thanks again Matt for being a wonderful Uncle so that Sarah and I could enjoy this afternoon!

Off to Abbotsford for a mini holiday!

My bestfriend Sarah said to me not that long ago, that her and Matt wanted to "Love Jesus and Love People". They are my inspiration in sooooo many ways!

Matt and Sarah took off on a God-filled adventure the day after Ezra was born, so we waited 8 months for them to all finally meet. Then on Father's Day weekend (Steve was off on a bike trip), Ezra and I loaded up two suitcases and boarded

our own adventure of heading to Abbotsford. Mind you, this wasn't the first time that Ezra has flown...but it was MY FIRST time travelling with him all by myself! We didn't do to bad considering (helps when we cut time really close to boarding :) ). And of course WestJet was amazing and helpful as always!

Matt and Sarah may think that they aren't ready to be parents yet (really, are any of us!), but when God makes the timing right - they will be FANTASTIC parents!!!

We headed down to Stevendson for a day - Ezra loves his Auntie Sarah so much!

Off to the beach for another day - Matt wanted to fish in his dingy (side note: Sarah had mocked Matt over this dingy until we arrived and looked out on the water to see at least 8 other dingy's. Matt was the one smiling then :) ).

This was when the plane landed back in Edmonton. I had my back turned a bit as I loaded up our bag and when I glanced back, here was my monkey of a son - halfway up the seat! I didn't take the picture right away, as I sat in awe as he worked his little toes to grasp the seat covers! Again, another thing that he has taught me!

Introducing Sawyer Rose Oliver

My brother, Morgan, and sister-in-law, Nikki, welcomed their first child - a girl! on June 15 at 10:30am. She weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces and is BEAUTIFUL! Looks exactly like her momma which is a great thing :)

Just waiting for Nikki and Sawyer to make it back to the room.

Our Good Friends - The Enns

Jon, Jessica and Ezekiel Enns moved to Lloydminster in October to become the new youth pastor at Southridge. They have become such amazing friends of ours! Zeke is 4 months older than Ezra!

We watched Zeke one Friday night during youth - it was our garage sale so both boys got to hang out in the play pen.

The next day the six of us headed to the museum. This is one of my new favorite pictures of the boys!

Jon, Jess and Zeke came to live with us for a few days as they had to be out of their apartment and they couldn't get into their new house for a few days...we loved having them as housemates!!!

Ezra especially loved having his little buddy around!

So Much Happened in His 9 Months of Life!

Ezra continues to bring more laughter each day that he is born. He is quite comical and has quite the personality.

Here he is after a bath - looking like a little Hugh Heffner :) Kidding! We will do everything to instill good morals in our son!

Ezra loves to "help" me unload the dishwasher :)

One of his new favorite past times. Pulling EVERY cd and dvd off the shelf! I'm glad that I know to take pictures of these precious moments as I'm sure that this will pass!

Celebrating cousin Genesis' birthday. Grandpa Parkinson is currently in Africa on a 3 month mission stint - we miss him!
