How many tries does it take to get a nice picture of all 3 kids together in their Easter outfits?!?!??!

Let's Colour Easter Eggs

This was the first time that I made time for us to decorate Easter eggs.  And it will be a priority for our family now as the boys had such a fantastic time doing it - they were so disappointed when I ended the dunking fun.  

Ezra is getting to be a lot of fun to watch when it comes to art and craft time...such determination is usually always displayed on his face.  :)

Ryder had no rhyme to his madness....I think I could have given him clear water and he would have thought it was fun :)

Easter Festivities Part #2

Finding the delicate balance during Easter will probably always be interesting.  This year, the Easter bunny did not come until naptime in the afternoon.  I liked how it worked - focused on the death of Jesus in the morning, and then some chocolate fun in the afternoon.  It won't always work - the kids much to my sadness won't ALWAYS nap - but for this year it worked well and just might work well for a few years!

Ezra knew the drill this year...Ryder was a work in progress.  But the end result was enjoyable for all :)

I took the kids to a local photographer's home who was doing some bunny photo's for Easter.  It wasn't the best experience for us, but there were a few photo's that turned out cute!  

Snow, Snow, Snow

While we were on our vacation to Ontario, a HUGE snowstorm hit Alberta on March 20.  One of the largest to hit in a very long time and caused havoc all over the place.  Our housesitter wasn't at our house when the storm hit and this resulted in her not even able to get to our home for 48 hours.  We ended up getting ahold of one of our neighbours and him skidooing in to feed and water the dogs that were in the shop.  Although we were thankful to be away, we were also sad to know that we were missing out in the excitement that everyone was getting to experience.  

Once we got back, I took some pictures of the boys on our laneway.  This was a large drift that was blocking the road (note: this is not a pile of snow that the graderman piled up...he did put some ontop but this showed the kind of drifts that were caused from the storm).  Vehicles were covered in snow, Grader's were covered and it took close to a week for the county to get all the roads back open again.  This truly has been a very interesting and LONG winter.
