Jolly Jumper Time

Ryder is such a busy baby!  He is constantly on the move and wiggling or squirming.  He is also a baby that is NOT at all content just laying around or sitting in a chair.  So, after another somewhat frustrating day of having to constantly be changing his position (or carrying him), I got out the jolly jumper.  Oh Jolly Jumper!  Why did I not think of you sooner!!!  Ryder LOVES it!  He has even lasted on it up to 45 minutes at a time.  I am now able to get things done :)

Bunny Agility...Yup You Read the Right!

The Golden Feather and Fur Show was the other weekend at the Exhibition.  Now, on a normal basis I would not even think about heading down to it...but this year, they had Bunny Agility :)  I figured that it would probably be some really cheap entertainment for Ezra...so my parents joined us and off we went.

It was pretty cute I have to admit - seeing bunnies jump and climb things.  They were timed - just like a regular dog agility.  Ezra did pretty good...after 1/2 hour of it, he got tired of it - so off we went to check out the many, many specimens of birds.

My dad is the luckiest man on earth!  The look that Ezra has on his face below, is the look that he gives my dad each time that he sees him!

What can I say!  $2 and it was a fantastic hour of entertainment :)

Hallowe'en 2011

I had such great plans for the boys costumes this year....but I ran out of time and energy on doing them - maybe next year!  Steve also had to work, so there went the idea of my family outfit :)

So in the end, it ended up being a much quieter Hallowe'en than I thought - but we still had a fantastic time!  Our great friends, Falon and Hayley invited us over for a little Hallowe'en party (I strive to be a mom like Falon!)...we had such a great time doing the craft, decorating cupcakes, pass the pumpkin, and the ghost search (like I said - I strive to be a mom like Falon!).  Here are some pictures from our little party!

Ezra's Creation

Hmmmm.....there is something in the juice!

FLIES!!!!!

It was much more fun eating the cupcake than decorating it :)

So what did the boys go as?  HUNTERS (I know, I totally lacked the creativity! :) ).  But they were pretty cute hunters!  And Ezra would even "shoot" with his gun and use the goose calls!

The week after Hallowe'en (yes, it was a week.....I'm a busy mom!), we had some pumpkin fun :) And extra Hallowe'en fun.

A smaller pumpkin (thanks Veronika!) - we finger painted it :)

And then with the large pumpkin...we carved for a special little project :)

I just finished telling him what our special little project was :)
Insert...evil laugh :)

Yup - he was super impressed with us :)
