Our Ray of Sunshine!

It is hard to believe that Mckenzie has been in our life for 3 months already!  She loves to smile and coo to anyone that will look in her direction...she is a happy baby (Thank You Jesus!)!.  

Here are just a few pictures (ha...who am I kidding...more than just a few!)...of Mckenzie at 2  months of age.

The Meeting of Two Beautiful People!

Back when Mckenzie was first born, I explained to you how we came across her name...Mckenzie Sarah.  You will remember me telling you about my beautiful best friend, Sarah Kaminski, and why we named Mckenzie after her.  When Mckenzie was just over a month old, we were lucky enough to have a quick visit with Matt & Sarah as they came through Lloyd on a fast holiday.  I am soooo glad that we had the opportunity to catch up fast, but more importantly, I'm glad that Mckenzei got to meet Sarah.  

These pictures show why we love Matt & Sarah.  They are fun, loving, beautiful (handsome - Matt), crazy people that my children adore - even Mckenzie at one month old smiled for Sarah!  

I can't what to visit again soon!

Ezra Loves Fall

Ezra loves Fall!  

He loves that it brings hunting season.  

He loves that it brings his birthday.  

And he loves that brings combine rides!  

Uncle Drayson called once again this fall and offered to take Ezra riding in the combine....of course Ezra said yes - and he lasted a couple of hours and I'm pretty certain that he wasn't ready to get off the combine when I went to pick him up.  Thanks Uncle Drayson for providing some great entertainment for Ezra again.  

Remember the saying "it takes a village to raise a child"....once again we have been blessed to have others invest into our children's lives!  We are blessed to have such fantastic family!

Fall is one of my top three favourite seasons (haha...yes, I know what that says...I don't like winter!).  I love the changes of colours and the crisp mornings.  I love watching the geese and ducks fly overhead (although I know that some of them are probably going to get shot out of the sky with our hunters! :) ).    And as much as I don't have a single farm lovin' bone in my body (or at least I think I don't)...I love watching farmers take crops off the field...it makes me proud!  

The Shop Surprise

While Steve was working out at the shop back in August, he found a little present to show the boys.  It was neat to watch the boys look at, poke, kinda hold, be curious and be timid.  Here are some pictures of boys checking out two tiger salamanders (at least that's what google claimed to tell me they were!)

Happy Birthday To Me!

Again, bear with me as we travel back in time to July 18 :)

This year I told myself not to give Steve a list of things that I would love for my birthday even if he asked for a list!  And you know what....he did really well.  Like super really well.  Like FANTASTICAL REALLY WELL.  

Look what I got! 

I have been eyeing PUMA shoes up for a very long, long time.  And I really wanted the white ones but I couldn't convince myself to buy them considering we are surrounded by dirt....thank goodness my husband just put all rational aside and got me what I wanted :)  (Normally, I'm the non rational purchasing one :) ).  

I celebrated my birthday at the lake while we were there...so my birthday shoes came along with me to a few spots...
