More Updates on House

Much progress has happened our home since I lasted posted...hopefully you can keep up :).  We are excited as everything is taking place at a quick speed!

It took a week to dig out the hill and get it ready.....

We came home from our mini holiday to Banff to find this - we have decided to go with the styrofoam basement.....  The basement will have two bedrooms, one bathroom, a large rec/tv area, furnace room, and a large room for Steve to hang deer heads in (I told him that he is responsible for cleaning "his" room.

And the house has come along at a quick pace....they expect for it to be completed in the next two weeks.  I love, love, LOVE my decision to go with dark trim - I love it so much more than the white trim that we have in our current home.  I am excited to move in!

We love our doors that were selected!

I love our walk-in closet - a great size and tons of shelves!!!

Laundry Room: I fell in love with the color that Bob and Jan put in their new laundry room - I just had to copy :)

Baby's Room: Of course more painting will take place here after August 21st :)

Carrie Underwood Concert!

Back in November, my bestfriend Janel and I headed up to Edmonton to watch Carrie Underwood.  This was one concert that I was paying whatever I needed to pay to have front row seats.  2nd Row from the front - AMAZING!!!!  Carrie puts on a fantastic concert!

Little Big Town was the opening act - great group as well!

2nd Anniversary - Banff

We celebrated our 2nd Anniversary in Banff and it was beautiful!  We stayed at a delightful Bed and Breakfast (Thea's House - highly recommend!) and spent the two days relaxing.

Here we are at Banff Springs Hotel.

Sorry - I can't figure out how to turn this photo:

We went to the Keg for our Anniversary Supper and Steve ordered himself champagne :)

California Vacation

We spent two weeks in California in January.  On the weekends, we attended the ISE Convention Show (International Sportsman Show) and the SCI Convention Show (Safari Club International).  Steve helped man a booth for Quickload at the ISE show and the SCI show we just went to check it out.

Since many of our clients are from California, we stayed with them during the week and were able to see "their areas".  It was great to visit with many of our clients turned friends!

Steve was able to go pig hunting with Kelly Smith and his dad.  The Smith's ranch in the Butte Mountains (the smallest mountain range) - it was a beautiful area.  The jeep below is how they get around when they are checking out their area.  Steve had a great time!
Butte Mountains - beautiful!

We started our vacation off in San Francisco.  Wonderful tour guides - Ken and Dave!  On our final night with them, they took us to Caesar's and ugh!  we ate wayyyyy to much - but it was sooooo good!
We also celebrated little Katie's birthday - it was a great time!

This is where Ken keeps his boat in the marina.
A very, very unique road!
