Our Little Dancer

Mckenzie loves her dance class and it is something that she is looks forward to every single week.  I love that she has so many of her little friends with her in her dance class.  They are all so cute together!

Then off to Mckenzie's Playschool for their Halloween party.  I've said it before and I'll say it again - I have VERY LUCKY to have the job that I do.  They let me always put my kids first....I don't miss out on much with them...hence why I was able to go and be a mom during the Halloween party first.  I've got it pretty great!

Halloween Preperations

Then weekend right before Halloween we spent some time with Ryder and Mckenzie getting their pumpkins ready (Ezra carved his at school).  Pumpkins were a shortage in Lloyd and when we discovered Mckenzie's pumpkin needed to be replaced, we had to resort to tiny pumpkins...which I personally think she loved painting more than she would have carving.  

October Phone Drop

I attended the Cre8 Retreat near the end of the month.  When I woke up the first morning I sent Steve this picture - it was so cold in our room that I had slept with socks, slippers, sweats, pjs, hoodie and the hoodie over my head.  It was cold!  The furnace worked the second night :).  

I always enjoy the view of scrapbooking while at Manitou!

Mom said she only received pictures of "Shadow" and she wondered where Emerald was and that maybe Emerald wasn't my favourite.  Lol.  I told her that Emerald just looks like a black hole :)

And then just to confirm I'm not some crazy cat lady....a final picture of my beautiful daughter :)

September Phone Drop

Fall arrived early.  I hoped that we would have someone come look at our place with the leaves turning colour because it is so very pretty out there.  Didn't happen but there is always wishful thinking! 

Jaclyn and I stocked up on prizes and give aways for our Cre8 retreat.  

I love her! 

We found 5 baby kittens on a very cold Tuesday night (with the forecast for snow that night).  I scooped them up and brought them in.  Due to that they were maybe 4 weeks old, I was bottle feeding for 2 weeks.  So they came to work every single day for 2 weeks.  

They provided great entertainment!  

Until they learned how to escape out of the laundry basket....

Even came for show n tell

And if "mom" wasn't paying attention they chose to climb her to get attention.  

As you can see September was filled with a bunch of kitten love.  They have all found their forever homes except for Emerald (the plain black one).  Mckenzie is still trying to convince Steve to let her keep Emerald...my heart was with the sleeping kitten above.  But he has gone to a great home - they all have gone to great homes!
