December Phone Drop

Ryder and Ezra during swimming lessons - Ryder has the best expressions!

The sun is shining in my eyes mom!

When the brother's are at school, the girls go and shop :)

Mckenzie, Ezra and I went and checked out to the new Border Bakeshop in town.

Santa Claus Day in Lloydminster

Mckenzie went and spent a day with my parents.  She came around the corner telling mom she needed help - trying to put on some doll pants.

Some Cocoa antics :)

While we were in Saskatoon, we had a chance to visit with Steve's good friend, Scott and his wife Darcel at the City hospital.

Family frozen yogurt night :)

I took these four for lunch one day while Nikki ran errands....always a fun time!

Time to get our craft on with my mom one day :)

And some horseback riding :)

Saw this sign near the washrooms at Midwest Furniture in town....that's pretty great!

Went to Zac's Christmas voice recital and when it was his turn, I looked over and completely laughed.  Look at that proud family!

Mom took me to Saskatoon for my pre-surgery appointments.  That evening we took in the Enchanted Forest.

Our formal Christmas party...blessed by our friends!

Christmas Frostings!

Fun on our "Christmas Eve"

And yes, Ryder ate with glove on his head the whole time :)

Air Band Time

Back Surgery in Saskatoon Round #2 in 2 years :(

That's a smile at 6:00am (and we all know that I don't smile often at 6:00am!)...helped that I had my winter leggings on :)

Here we go :)

Post Surgery - I was soon thankful for this fuzzy blanket from my mother in law.  It kept me warm and was very comfy!  Do you see the best trick ever on the bed - the lip balm taped to the bed rail...how genius is that!  All credit goes to one of my recovery nurses!  Also so very thankful for my fuzzy socks and slippers from my mother in law.  I always have cold feet!

Power team right here!

(left): 16 staples later
(right): the copy arrow shows the small scar from two years ago.  I didn't realize how much larger this incision was until the staples were taken out and I could see the scar.  Recovery this time around was a lot harder - it started to make some sense when I saw the size of the incision.

My twice daily cocktail....

Steve with his ladies.
