A Special Little Package Arrived :)

We had Lime-Light Photography come out when Ryder was 6 days old to do his newborn pictures.  Kristen is AMAZING at what she does and we are THRILLED with these special photo's.

Not only does Kristen take amazing pictures...her presentation blows us away as well.  We have a total of 41 beautiful pictures of our Ryder...here are just a few to enjoy!

Beautiful Summer Day!

Mom and I had a little "project" to do this morning just south of Uncle Drayson's.  So we met there, loaded up Ezra, Ryder, and Catherine and used the buggy to get up the very muddy road to our destination.  It was such a beautiful morning for the drive and we had a lot of fun - even if we were covered with mud by the time we got back.

Little Miss Catherine....she's just too dang cute!!!

Father's Day 2011

We celebrated Father's Day this year by sleeping in (oh so nice!), attending Church, having lunch with Steve's parents, having a nap in the afternoon (oh so nice!), and then having supper with my family.  It was a great day!

During Church we realized that Ezra was wearing the same shirt as Zeke and Logan...and it WAS NOT planned!  All of us mom's had bought the shirts at different times (thank you $4 shirt Walmart!)...so super cute!  When Steve went up to pick up Ezra from pre-school nursery, I gave him instructions to make sure to get a picture of the three boys...as you can see, Zeke didn't want his picture to be taken :), but SUPER CUTE Liam jumped in for the photo shoot....his mommy spends more than $4 on a shirt :)

My grandpa meeting Ryder for the first time....his 8th great grandchild (I think I counted right!)

My boys are so lucky to have a daddy that LOVES them so much!  It's so fun to watch Ezra just light up in the face when he sees Steve.

Four Generations...WHAT a Blessing!

We took the opportunity to capture a rare photo - FOUR generations of healthy, happy people :)

When I look at this photo, I realize how incredibly lucky my boys are...they come from a fantastic family tree.  My grandpa and my dad are both amazing men and I am so very privileged to call them family!

Ryder's Photo Shoot with Mommy!

The other day while Ezra was napping, I took the opportunity to snap some pictures of Ryder.  He cooperated very well!

Enjoy!

Ryder's way of informing me that we are all done! :)

Hopefully, he will cooperate for me another day to get the tie pictures done.

Game 7 Hockey Playoffs!

After Game 6, Steve invited friends of ours to come and watch Game 7.  I'm sure that at first, he was hoping for a boys night...but after myself and Jess said that we wanted to watch the game with our husbands, the boys night out turned into family game 7 :)

Jon, Jess, and Zeke, Ken, Janel, Logan and Parker, and Brian (Gina and Isaiah we missed you!), all joined us and we had a great time...minus the outcome of the game!

I so enjoy having people in our home.  I love hearing laughter and community in our home.  It just warms my heart!

I especially loved watching Logan, Zeke and Ezra all play together.  At one point all three boys were upstairs pounding away on the piano and running back and forth...such a GREAT SOUND!

We encouraged everyone to bring an appetizer to share and we ended up with quite the feast (see last photo).  I'm sure that no one was hungry at the end of the evening!

Hopefully, we can all get together again soon!  I think that a bonfire will be in our near horizon's!

The Fisher boys all showed up in their hockey gear....even if the Oiler's didn't stand a chance making it to the playoffs...Ken and his boys are die-hard Oiler fans!

Ryder slept through most of the game!
Parker has such beautiful blue eyes!

A Few Pictures of Our Time At Home

Tammy and the kids came to meet Ryder the day we came home.  Both Ezra and Ryder are blessed with fantastic cousins!  Below are pictures of Genesis and Zane!
