The Joy Those Glasses Bring!

Do you remember seeing those glasses before - Steve wore them for his Mr. Smeel costume and Ezra wore them while goofing around one day.  The other night Ryder brought them to me wanting them on and of course I knew that it would bring a delightful sight :) - so I quickly grabbed my camera and on they went.  Yes, I know our children are cute :).

Pretty certain that Ryder expression in this last photo is one of my favorite photo's with those glasses.

Pretty in Her Little Red Dress

Just how easy is it to take pictures of my children?!?!?  VERY EASY...when you start with the baby girl.  Because then her older brothers DO NOT want to be left out on all the fun :)  \

Mckenzie's hair is just getting long enough that I am finally able to put a barret into it....blah, so stinkin' cute! :)

Many people have said that our children look alike - truthfully, I have never really been able to see it - I have always thought that they look like their own person.  And then voila...I took these pictures and it was like an "ahha" moment - I see it now!

Special Memories From This Fall

This fall we had a wonderful young lady help out as our nanny for the kids (at some point I will explain why I had a nanny!).  Taylor was awesome with the kids and she is a fantastic photographer to boot!  She captured many special moments with the kids this fall and I am very thankful for that.  She also was able to get some of the boys together - which is hard - I'm excited to scrapbook away!

Baby K is a Coming!!!

My best friend, Sarah, and her husband Matt are expecting the arrival of their first baby very soon, like in the next 48-72 hours soon!  We are very excited!  Ezra said that we will go meet Uncle Matt and Auntie Sarah's baby when it is born :).  Lol...December won't come soon enough!

I'm predicting a girl...7 pounds 3 ounces.  I'll let you know if I am correct :)

A few other pictures...amazing how many takes you have to take :)

Play Date!

The kids and I headed over to Dustin and Becky Newman's for a playmate with Nora and Owen.  Nora turned 2 in August and Owen was born in August....so there is 1 year difference between Nora and Ezra and 2 months between Owen and Mckenzie.  It took a bit for the kids to start playing nicely together, but once they did, my boys didn't want to leave :)

A little mini photo shoot with perhaps some day the Mr & Mrs Newman :)

Sure wouldn't think there was 2 months difference between them hey!

And Ryder fell down the stairs....he was riding one of those riding car toys and got a little to close to the stairs :)  He's a super tough kid at least but does have some war wounds to prove it!

All the way home, Ezra was telling me how much fun he had with Nora....

Can't wait till the next play date, Becky!

We May Have A Crazy Life But We Love It!

The very talented Bryn Dyer took our family photos back in September.  I'm always bouncing around on photographers and trying to find one that I love.  Bryn was so very patient with our crazy family and I wasn't sure how the pictures turned out.  I just picked them up from Bryn the other day and I think they turned out fantastic!  They showcase our family and the craziness that we all entail.
