Christmas morning: we made the decision to "break away" from the Parkinson norm and decided to stay at home and spend the morning just the two of us. It was wonderful! We slept in, had breakfast, opened our gifts to each other, delivered our Christmas packages that we had done up for some men at the men's shelter here at Lloyd and then in the afternoon our families started to arrive. We hosted Christmas this year and had both sets of parents, Peter & Tammy and family, and Diane Oliver. It was a great Christmas!

Christmas Eve we "adopted" two couples that didn't have family to celebrate with that evening. We enjoyed a delicious salmon supper and then headed to the Christmas Eve service together.

The turkey was perfect!
Diamond tired out during the gift opening :)

On December 21st, we celebrated Christmas with mom and dad Oliver, Morgan and Nikki. Morgan and Nikki headed back to Manitoba for Christmas this year, which is why we celebrated ahead of time.

To kick off the Christmas season, we had two couples over for supper. They are great friends of ours.

We are indeed truly blessed!
