We headed down to Calgary this past week for a much need family vacation. It was so nice to get away and have a chance to spend some time together as a family.
We stayed with our great friends Mike & Elisa Nedelko and family (they have 4 children...their youngest is one month younger than Ezra). We really enjoyed the time to catch up with them. Saturday morning, we headed to the zoo, enjoyed Olive Garden for lunch and then came back and visited with Mike and Elisa in the afternoon some more. Saturday evening, Steve and I went on our anniversary date night to Ruth Chris Steakhouse (again - it was great) while Mike and Elisa watched Ezra for us. Sunday, we went to Church with the Nedelko's and then had a quick turkey lunch and headed home. It was a fast trip, but we really enjoyed our time together and away.

Here are a few pictures of our time at the Zoo:

| When we saw these...Steve's response was "Ezra, look...we can shoot those at home". My husband, the true hunter! :) |
The zoo keepers had a 9 year old turtle out for people to look and touch. Ezra was hesitant first and then was okay with touching it (just as long as dad was right there!)
