Another Awana Year End

It seems as if we just started Awana's this year and it has already wrapped up for the summer....crazy how time flies!

Ryder was in his first year of Cubbies and he had so much fun.  He was always excited to go upstairs and never hesitated at all (also, very eager to learn his verses!).  Perhaps it helped that Auntie Nikki was his leader!?!?!

Ezra was very excited to "graduate" to Sparks this year.  His director, Tara Oborowsky, is amazing with this large group of children.  Ezra memorized his verses with lightening speed finishing his book before Christmas, completing his review by the end of February and also completing his extra credit book by the end of the year.  We are very proud of him!

Side note:  Once the Awana clubbers had finished their presentations, Ken gave his sermon.  Long story short...there is NEVER a dull moment when Ken is preaching.  So. Glad. To. Have. Him. Back.
People wonder why our Church is growing at a rapid pace - this man right here.  God speaks through him in AMAZING ways....always dynamic and very interesting!

After Church, we headed into the gym for the fellowship luncheon....also was a time to hand out awards.

The 1st year Sparks receiving their awards.

Cubbies receiving their awards.

Cousins....multiple pictures taken trying to get all four of them looking at the camera and smiling at the same time.  I have spared you the pain and not posted all of the takes.  Let's just say, my wonderful middle child was seeing how much patience his mom had that day ;)

I should know better.  Just let them do a funny face.
