The last couple of years I have taken the kids to see the parade with my mom and then we head to the fair afterwards for a few hours. This day always results in lots of fun and very, very tired children in the end. We have also had the luck to have fantastic weather the last few years - hot....but this year, was just about too hot!
Zeke and Jess were able to join us this year - YEAH! We enjoyed the chance to be able hang out with them! Jess has been babysitting full time the last few years so we haven't had much of a chance to visit as often as we would like! I'm super excited for the new baby Enns that is coming that forces Jess to be on maternity leave :)
Waiting for the parade...which sadly enough was 1.5 hours late starting...SO NOT COOL when you have 6 children under the age of 4 trying to sit and wait patiently. And it didn't help that my kids didn't get breakfast before we went - ran late that day!. They did really well, but as mom's we were ready to pull our hair out :)
This was the first year that Ezra wanted to really go on rides. He was sooo excited to be on them. Also lucked out that Sawyer and Ryder were able to go with him as well!
Good day in the end! Looking forward to next year already!
