This was the first year that I think the boys were able to comprehend what we were doing - at least Ezra did. The kids came with us to pick out and buy the different supplies that they wanted to put into their shoebox. Each child packed a shoebox and both Jule and I also packed a shoebox. I enjoyed the teaching and learning that happened with the kids during this time of purchasing and packing.

We decided to do all of our shoeboxes for the Ukraine.
