Southridge Family Camp 2013

It has been many years since Southridge put on a family camp - not sure why they decided to try it again this year, but I am SO glad they did.  What a fabulous weekend spent with 15 families - a little hectic and noisy at times with 19 toddlers - but such a fun, fun, FUN time!

The one thing Steve hoped was that he would have fun - he didn't care if no one else did :) as long as he did! :)  I hoped that it would be a time of rest, rejuvenation, and family time. We both got what we hoped for.

Our kids did well - it was a reminder that they still need to stay on schedule as best as possible otherwise the crankers come out.  They also did well sleeping all together in the bunk room of the camper.  We are so fortunate to have it!

Here are some pictures of our busy and fun weekend!

Steve took the boys fishing....with a few extra bodies tagging along.  I was thankful when Ken decided to go as well - it was starting to look like a lot of children for just Steve on the barge.

Meal Time.  We ate so very well.  The. Whole. Weekend.

Logan and Ezra watching Matthew Vidal run his remote control boat.  It was the COOLEST thing EVER!

Sunday morning chapel.  Ken had a contest to see who could build the best fort - one person got inside and someone else sprayed the fort with the hose.  Driest team one...it was a three way tie :)
